Schedule

Well, at last word this is how the schedule goes.

Carpet by Friday (lots of clean up before they do that)

Walk through in a week or two.

Completion by Jan 31st (I am sure that depends upon the walk through)

Closing somewhere around the 6th.

WOW - that's all I know to say.

See what I mean about clean up? Anyone up for a bath?

After Christmas Update

With all the busyness of the holidays and preparing our current house to sell, I haven't thought much about updating this blog, even though I've been out to the house many times recently.

It is hard to believe that our new home will be ready in a month more or less and we will be moving. I am very excited but busy enough that it keeps me grounded.

Here are a few photos to share.

This is the back of the house. We chose to have them brick the rest of the second story - yeah! I really love it and low maintenance over the years. You can also kind of see our extended patio.

This is our family room. I love the size of the room and the windows. The kitchen and eating area are to the left in this photo but you can't see them.

This is the view from the eating area to the den. I love the bar and the long piece of counter for serving, etc. I have my kitchen floor down. It is a wonderful vinyl, but you can't really see it. It is covered in a solid layer of dirt and dust. I am a messy housekeeper!

This is the view from the front entry into the formal dining which then goes into the kitchen. We widened that doorway and had them leave off the actual door. I love how it turned out!

This is the view from the entry into the family room and up the stairs. You can't see the brown wood banister since it is all covered up. I also like how the entry tile I chose (with the help of my sister) turned out.
